he didn't have much odor at all , he was in 45 degree water when we saw him last week and we lassoed him and drug him to shore for the big birds to eat on.
he still didnt really smell bad when we visited him the second time, not really warm enough to get really stinky.

no doubt my friend , done drove lots further a few times myself to ketch crappie on an invite . of course being a guest and not wanting to push "my luck" it hasnt been a spot that I bring others to visit with me just yet , the owner is right friendly and would and or possibly will let me bring guests at some point in time is my guess though ,so stay tuned ,it could happen

you know after being told only 2 lakes or ponds out of 14 on his place hold crappie , the one with the dead buck was "supposed" to be only bass and bluegill .....in 2 short visits I managed to ketch several crappie in it and a golden shiner along with the bass and bluegill .
this coupled with the fairly heavy amount of visitors makes me think there is likely other ponds or lakes there with crappie in them as well ,due to the lets toss a few crappie in this pond to help it out folks out there .
its such a large place it will likely take me a good while to find out what other waters there have them and or do not , one thing for certain though , even with the over abundance issues there is possibly a big ole granddaddy crappie in one of them spots for sure ....

I understand completely, I understood before my first reply, but thought I would just aggravate you a little. I hope you appreciate the attitude that it was presented in...... and I will stay tuned.
