Same thing for me and my bride.

I'll make the trip come spring.

Oh, and I'll make it on a Friday when the Roundhouse Restaurant has Bread Pudding on the menu.

They have $5 off $30 with a maximum of $20 off the purchase in addition to the discounts offered by any of the vendors. Hummingbird didn't offer a discount, B'n'M had $5 off each rod, but I didn't see any vendor actively advertising any discounts. I had to ask the vendor if they had any specials.

I wish I could have walked through the store when it was empty, because they have so much stuff that I missed a lot of things. The aisle of lead molds was amazing. If the sale didn't cap the discount at $20, I'd have ended up with a lead pot and a mold or two, a few rods, and who knows what else.

The video didn't do the rod section justice. It goes the entire length of the store. 3/4 or more of the rod area are just crappie rods.

I drove 2 hours each way and after editing the video, I told my girlfriend that I really wanted to go back today because I'd missed so much. Next time I'm up that way, I'll drop by.

I'm not a mask nazi or anything but careful and looks like most folks did NOT have masks on in enclosed area and were NOT doing SDing thingy. those in line or in close talking groups and not masked is unwise IMO. I know crappie fishing folk are a hardy lot but why take chances as folks are coming from all around and not in your germsphere.

Does look amazing but not having some REAL discounts on the products doesn't make much sense to go. Again IMO. I know it's cool to talk to the crappie fishing tv stars and greats and sure the seminars are a real treat. I know really missed the Lets go fishing show for this year in collinsville IL.

Let me be clear---Grizzly had signs at the front door "Masks Required!" There were signs on the doors to the seminar area "Masks Required!" The check-out lines had 6 foot decals on the floor. Those of us who didn't wear our mask at all or part of the time did so on our own choice and the Grizzly crew didn't go around pointing it out.

Wife and I went Saturday. Boy was it crowded!! It was nice to meet with Matt (3 Pound Crappie)! Store was very nice and BIG. We will go again when it is less crowded, since it is only around 2 hours from Memphis!

For those that couldn't make it, they are running a cyber 3 day sale on their website only. Discount is "Grizzly Jig Show" and you'll get 15% off your total purchase.

We got down there Saturday morning and that place was loaded with folks. We were in line to check out for about an hour, too. But it was well worth it. I got a chance to talk to several pro staff members across various companies, learn a few new things and ended up buying two new rods (and an assortment of jigs) in the process. I definitely want to go back and check it out when its less crowded.

You wear a mask to protect the people you are around from potential covid infection. To not wear a mask around others is not a good thing. Looking at the pics of the show it appears that most people did not have mask on. Not a safe place to have been.
