To my brothers & sisters in arms... Thank you for your service! To those thanking a Veteran... thank you for caring! We often play it off and sometimes forget to say "You are welcome." I did it because I loved it and wasn't ready to go when they told me it was time to go. LoL
Those serving today and into the future. Thank you for being the reason I and many patriotic Americans sleep peacefully at night. Thank your family for their sacrifices as well. You know as well as I do that they give up as much and more than we did or do.

Today I will go honor my Stepfather (WWII Vet .. Patton's Tank Corps) ... and my cousin (Air Force/Retired .. Nam Vet).
I'm a monthly contributor to DAV ... and a volunteer wreath layer for Wreaths Across America / Camp Nelson Natl Cemetery (working alongside members of Rolling Thunder).

Yes a big Thanks to all Veterans. This is a special year for me. We lost my grandfather this year couple weeks shy of his 97th birthday. He was a WWII Purple Heart recipient. Also lost my grandmother couple months after him at 93. I'm honored and happy to have been given his Purple Heart. I will remember him forever as well as my grandmother.
Lost my father in 2017 to cancer. He was a Vietnam Veteran. They blame his cancer on agent orange from the war. I think of him daily and especially today.
