Thread: No good deed goes unpunished

Motive is not what one would think in this theft when it came to stealing just lures. I fish a local lake with a friend once a week and we do well - always - with at least 80 fish between the two of us. The lake isn't huge so when we catch nice crappie and gills or get doubles, he hoots and hollers holding up many of his trophy fish. There are a few regulars that watch us more often than not probably wondering what the H we used to be able to consistently catch fish. Could be jealously mixed with frustration and anger or simply the compulsion to get them seemingly magic lures to do as well as we do. In any case, someone who took three boxes of lures - and nothing else - knows me and possibly has seen the lure photos I post on this forum.

Regardless - it's personal when someone steals from you especially when it concerns a passion. Whoever it is, I sincerely hope they get theirs and I'm not talking fish.
