Boy I tell you what, it's been to long sense I ate whole fried perch. I don't know if it was the shin on the fish or the licking of my fingers or freshly cleaned and fried in the same hour but that was the best I've had in a long long time. I guess I got use to taking the easy way out and filet the Sacs that's convient and space saving in the freezer but more will get left whole from now on. Sense these bull brim are making themselves easy targets wright now I gonna keep going after them. My cardiologist might not like the idea of so much fried food, cause he never tasted anything this good. He would probably make an exception for this.

Chip that is why I only bring home enough fish to eat that night. Nothing like fresh out the water, and with the skin on. That is why I like to catch some on them whole fryers about 10" long.

Completely Agree! I always say, there is a reason they don't get to 5 lbs- they would pull the rod out of our hands!

Way to go Skippa!!! I've had to work, so I've only been able to fish my friend's pond. Caught some nice bass from the bank, but no sacs. Don't want to spread the virus, so haven't been traveling on weekend. Stressful times!!

    Have a blessed Easter!

    Hey Skip,
Every fisherman always started by getting "hooked" on enjoying fishing for bluegill...Those memories and that enjoyment stays with us to the end of our days....Thanks for sparking fond memories in all of us.Time to get the oil hot and enjoy them.

Very nicely done for sure. That's a mess of fish anyone would be proud of.
I know they made for some mighty fine eatin' too so freshly fried.
