    Got there early, should have slept in for a while. Fished in the rain for first 3 hrs and had 6 in the box.

    Once the rain stopped around 10am the fish started biting. Ended up keeping a good mess of crappie and a couple bass to boot.

    Caught my fish in shallow water, tight lined 1/32 ounce 20watt specials. Copper/black/orange and a grey jig were the ticket.

    Water temp was 63, the lake seems clearer than I can remember in years past

    Very nice catch. Cut the goo in .75" chunks and it is perfect for fish stew....
