    Brett,
I saw in the electronics board that you got the livescope system and you may have returned a 93SV to get a 106. Just curious what transducer you are running and why you went with the 106. Thanks.

Looked like the 93 wasn't going to get delivered.
106 is 2 levels of clarity above the 93.
I just wanted something up to date.
I have no idea if the image is way better than the 93

Thanks. I bought a 93SV but have not installed it yet. I can probably still take it back. I think the 106SV may be compatible with the new LSV12 transducer that does not require the black box like the system with the LVS32 transducer. The LVS 12 is also $500 vs $1500 for the LVS32 system. Was curious which transducer you went with to pair with the 106.

From what I can tell from the Garmin site, GT54 is the UHD transducer that gives ClearVu, SideVu, Chirp, etc. but does not give LiveScope. I assume you have another transducer that does like either the LVS32 or LVS12? How is the SideVu with the GT54? That transducer is supposed to be near the same frequency as the Humminbird Mega and better than the previous Garmin transducers.

Here is a side view and down view pic from the 93sv UHD w/ GT54. This was straight out of the box.

Those are some really nice pics. Hard to believe Humminbird Mega could be much better than that. I may have to see if I can still take my 93SV plus back since I have not installed it and get the UHD. I am thinking if I also talk myself into LiveScope, I can get the 106SV like Brett's with a 10 inch display and higher resolution with a 54 UHD transducer together with a LVS12 transducer for LiveScope for about the same price as a 93SV UHD combined with the LVS32. Both would be about $2500 from Garmin's retail prices. There is a bit of difference in the LVS12 and LVS32 but I think either would work fine.

The Hummingbird images are a little sharper but to purchase the Mega 10 DS SI it will cost you about 2,200 for the money 93sv UHD might just be the most bang for $$$.
