Take the time to enjoy the day and what is in front of me. Peacefulness on the stream for sure, and stay healthy.

For me it is not really a New Years resolution, but rather a challenge to myself. A few years ago I decided to see if I could catch at least one fish on hook and line each month of the year. Well on January 1, 2020 I caught a yellow perch through the ice which marked my 85th month in a row. Seven years and one month.

I know for a lot of you guys that live down south where you have open water all year this would probably be easier to do. But, living in Wyoming three or four months of the year those catches have to be through the ice.

It has been fun and I will continue to keep the string going as long as it stays enjoyable!!

More time enjoying life and less time working. Spend at time at the range at least 2 days a month. And I sure need to drop some weight. That is a start anyway

I’m not making a resolution this year. I’m gonna be difficult one more year.

I caught a lot of crappie last season but more importantly made some new good fishing buddies. Even have a new buddy with a great lake who needs the bass and crappie thinned out a lot! A man's work ahead of me there for sure! Just want to keep on doing what has been working and helping some friends with health issues get back out on the water and feeling the thump!
