Woke up at 5am to thunder booming the house and raining like crazy. Check the radar and looks like it's about to blow through so up and at em I go.
Started off at Terrall island and picked up a couple but that played out pretty quick. Search around for a cpl hrs and can't find any.
Decide to pull trigger and go up the lake a ways and yep, found some fish. Only problem is wind was tearing me up.
Finally throw the towel in about 12:30

Looks like mostly males in spawning color. Pretty dark for stained water fish. Nice haul, glad you stuck it out til you found them.

Would it be worth it to fish from the banks? I'm coming back down this week end and won't have my boat but would bring some gear (slip floats, jigs, etc) it there's a chance I could catch a few. I was thinking along the access road on 15, the causeway on 33 or the causeway on 2.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

Get youself on back down here -- Those places could produce some fish -- Most I caught was in 3 to 5 foot water but it seems many more at 10 feet -- We have to do our part to keep the Crappie from overpopulation
