I couldn't agree more. The beauty, the wild life, the serenity, I love it, and am thankful for those that exposed me to Santee Cooper country at such a young age, and to those whom taught me how to fish her waters.

I started back with my bucket list today to Santee state park with my wife. The scenery here is second to none.

I am glad you post about what you do down there because there isn't anyone else who could give us the great reports. I appreciate every post you do. I am not really jealous. I'm just picking at you because no one else does. If you didn't fish you would be a crazy person and I'd be bored to death waiting on a report to trickle in. Just keep up the good fishing and I'll be happy and a smart butt from time to time. You are right it is all good fun!

I know it’s in fun, that’s what makes it all good. Too many folks take things too seriously, It’s just fishing. No one on here is asked, or is it expected to reveal exact locations, just to post results with pics. I don’t post all my trips, but far more are successful than not. For me, I just want folks to know that crappie can be caught year round. You just have to be in the know, relentless, and refuse failure as an answer. Some days, a limit can be had in short order, other days it takes a while to convince a nice mess of fish to bite. So many variables are involved, but with age comes knowledge. You just gotta work through you audibles until success achieved.

Some of this applies to not only fishing but life in general. Good one!
