Default New friends on the rock

Meet Sinkermaker and microps at Tamarac marina this morning. Fish was really scattered but the ones we put in the live well were some nice crappie. Man was it hot , the fish we caught were really shallow only 17-18 fow. Some fish were right on the bottom and some were only around 8 ft. Only had time to take a few pictures, I think we kept around 20 fish through back several more. Some fish hit jigs tipped with minners and some just on jigs. All in all it was a great day, made some new friends and caught some fish New friends on the rock

Randy, thank you for making it and showing us all the ropes on high rock, dont worry i wont tell the nc crowd all the aces you showed us. One of them we discovered ourselves by trying to get 14' rods under the brige stood up in rod stands. Seriously, was a pleasure meeting you, you definitely know that lake. I will say that drive whooped me. Went to bed at 730 lastnight, now off to myrtle beach for wife time. Tim

somehow we escaped with no broken rods, i wrestled the rods down as they were dragging under the bridge. Mr ed duke makes some durable rods.

Congratulations on a good trip. That Randy guy is a pretty decent fellow. Glad yall found some. Now save those spots for the 29th. It was terrible hot out there Thursday. I think 92 when we loaded for home. But like you guys we found em in 15-18 fow. Hope this hurricane dont mess up everything.

Good report and glad everyone had a good time catching instead of just riding! I'm not worried about any aces being held back. You'll can use them all you want to. Ofish has it figured out already and plans are that Uncle Remus will have a secret weapon on board with him too! Don't under estimate Perch Fox and FishFinder 8 on the bow with the SC blue attack minnows and Remus at the helm. Can't wait to get back up that way again!

It was a pleasure meeting and getting to fish with you Randy. Thanks for showing us the lake and some places to fish. I hope to make one more trip up there the week of the clash. Not going to be able to come up there like I planned as the wife decided she was going to the beach that weekend. Oh well
