I would go to everyone flea market in your area and start checking for the missing equipment... Thieves are not that smart. Buddy of mine had some stuff stole from behind his rental house. Went the next weekend to the local flea market and guess what, some Mexicans had it for sale! He then proceeded to ask them how they got the stuff and they said no speak English... that was until the cops arrived....

Hope you get at least your Dad's reels back. But they can't take your memories. They will get what they deserve someday. At least there was no confrontation with bad results. God bless you.

These days there are opportunist thieves just about everywhere. Sorry yours came at a cost of loosing some of dad’s gear. Vigilance is about the best method we have of thwarting this type of crime. Best of luck in recovering your equipment.

I sure am sorry to hear this news. Some items can never be replaced but I would like to send you some things to help you build back up your tackle.

Can you provide us with a description of some of the stuff. Like some have said thieves can be pretty dumb when it comes to selling stuff. I'll keep an eye out on some of the other forums that have for sale pages.
