Man! Sounds like yall got some crazies down there on the Rez! What you described makes no sense whatsoever!

Yesterday, when leaving the Three Prong area on Ross Barnett, I was headed south and encountered a boat head north that appeared to be determined to run into me... I kept easing further and further to the right, and he kept moving over too, almost forcing me out of the channel. I finally decided that he was bound and determined to cut to his left in front of my boat, which then caused me to have decide to drop off plane, or swing out to my left and hope that I was guessing correctly... All he had to do was keep to my left, and then cut in behind me... The strange part was the look on his face, when we narrowly avoided a collision! I know he saw the big white boat with the guy in the bright yellow shirt coming right at him...What makes folks in boats loose all common sense when they are on the water?

I bet he was watching this graph or something and never saw ya until yall got that close. With the channel at the Rex, you better be watching AT ALL TIMES when running. It only takes a second of not watching to cause an accident there. I grazed a channel marker just up the river from Tommy’s at 30-35 mph one time and all I did was look over at a ski boat pulling a kid through a stump field going into Horseshoe with gators in it. Blink of an eye longer and I might have been a statistic.

Good news is it wasn't one of the crappie pros because the lake is off limits! 😂😂😂 couldn't resist Clifford just havin a little fun!
He possibly didn't like the cut of your jib'... lol. To be honest, I don't see how y'all deal with all those highfalutin bass guys running around everywhere with the look at me attitude. Crappie fishermen out number them 10 to 1 on these lakes up here, and we don't play that crap. It's the pleasure boaters we have to keep a sharp eye out for, won't be long now.

You've got to keep your head on a swivel while down there. I've been there and saw a group at the S curve in a ski boat pulling a kid who wiped out in the middle of it. Poor kid, it was a warm summer weekend and the channel was busting with boats going WAO. And all you could see was the top of his head in the 2'chop. Can't believe his folks put him in that situation.
