    Default Washington Tough

Don’t know why the bite was off at Washington yesterday. Trollers catching some. I was there to single
pole fish. We caught a mess. We found some snakes. Good day on the water nevertheless. Name: IMG_3649.jpg

I use to fish Washington several times a year when we lived in the delta. The snakes are always there but so are the crappie.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!

A good place to be for sure. If you are seeing snakes you are near fish, so I've always been told.

Yeah, that's them sure-nuff old timers. They probably started out fishing with a willow limb for poles and sinew instead of line.

We made hooks out of safety pins and went to the "branch"! This branch is a spring on my grandfathers place that heads up Little Minnow creek and feeds Kemper Lake.
