    Default a trip to oakhill

Last night ( wed 3-7-18 ) I took a trip to Oakhill. Got there around 6 pm ( tide and dark was not until after 7 pm ) and it was already crowded. Our normal spot was taken, so we just found an open spot on the river and set up. The wind was stronger than I expected and out of the NW. It blow us off our lights several times. And it cut through out jackets. It also got cold out on the water ( it was in the low 50's when we left).

The water was clear and we had a good light field and we did not see any catfish around the light. But we did not see a lot of shrimp either. But we did see enough to bring home 2 gal of mostly nice size shrimp.

another good day at the office !

Be nice if there was some sort of logic behind the swarm runs. I know I wont go on south wind but aside from that its pretty much when they want to go it seems.

As they say: "If you want to know, you got to go !"
And I only like to go on an early tide. Those late nights get to me when it's a late night tide.

See now thats what I mean. I always did best peak full or peak new moon and both with strong south wind.
