    In my younger years I ran a boat onto the bank one night because I thought he was fishing my hooks (I know he was) and threatened to take my boat paddle to them and whoop their butts....glad they were the quite types too because it woulda been ON (candy a_ _es). That isn't the way I want to remember a fishing trip anymore....and at my age I really don't want to put myself into that predicament again because I might not come out on top (have to shoot now...too old to fight!). Anyway, fishing aint worth that. I'd give the guy they spot and just move. I can always put fish in the boat somewhere else (atleast I THINK I can.)

    Life is too short for confrontation with other fisherman. As crazy as folks are today, they may have a gun. Anyone that grossely rude may shoot, you. With all the public shootings that other person may be a firecracker about to go off. Give them the spot if they follow you get their registration number and turn them over to the local law enforcement.
