I have. Thanks
I wouldn't spend the extra $$ for SI on trolling motor. It's not as easy to determine where areas like on transom, due to all the movements from trolling motor. Use the extra on bow for larger screen.

I only have one unit (Garmin) and it is on my TM. SI or sv is not a real issue as far as the 'washing out' of the image IF you turn the TM sorta slow. Doug V had a vid on this. I only have a bow mount TM on this boat and like having the ducer right at my feet. If it does wash out it only takes about 3/8" to be clear again. As for boat speeds and the impact, match the scroll as best you can. I have zero issues with my displays. Maybe it is what you get used to. If I still had my Ranger, I would want one on the transom for sv, but maybe still want it on the TM too.

I love having my hummingbird SI unit up front on the bow. Now I don't have it mounted on the trolling motor. I had a old motor guide trolling motor that went bad and I am using the mount for the transducer much like the mounts that Rickie sells. This past year I was able to see fish off from the sides of my boat so I was able to just turn and go through them to catch them. I also have side imaging on the console and at just the right speeds it is much clearer than the bow mount as running at a some what higher speed does help. I have a friend that fish out there and when I would tell him where they were he was somewhat amazed as how I could see and know where they were. He said he was going to get one for his boat this year, he is a little tight with his money we will see.
Be safe and good luck fishing![]()
