Keep watching this site. The guys on here will help all they can. I personally haven't fished Jordan in many years. What I've herd is the fish were at the hwy 64 bridge , people were tying there boats up at the bridge and fishing on the bottom or one or two turns off the bottom with minners. I have fished the bridge both ways. If they are stacked in there I like to just tie off to one of the center pylons and fish right off the bottom one or two turns with minnows. Also did pretty good starting on the seaforth side and trolling very slow through the center of the pylons to the Farrington Point side. When they are stacked in there everyone knows so you got to get up there very early to even get a spot on the bridge. S turns a troll long lines with jigs and some straight down with minnows. I have heard that the bait is everywhere but the fish are not biting I'm not sure tho im going to try them this weekend.

I have fished Jordan for years. 64 bridge is good, as long as the boat traffic is low. I like the 751 bridge, and Eberneezer Church bridge better. I now live in Hickory, but Jordan is still my favorite, with High Rock next. Good Luck

I don't fish Jordan but a couple times a year but here is my experience. From Thanksgiving til around March, the fish are at 64 bridge and the S-turns. I have always trolled but you can anchor. Other bridges will catch fish just not as many nor will there be big fish. From mid October to Thanksgiving, the only place to go is the Farrington bridge. Night fishing is good at Jordan. I have only done that in the summer months so I can't speak for other times but at night, the bridges will work but 64 seems to have bigger fish. What's left of the standing timber will be good but tons of small fish. Hope this helps!

Anybody been to the Eno recently? Thinking about going Sat. and was wondering about water conditions and river levels. Dont want to chance backing off the ramp.

Welcome to NC. Jordan has been a great lake for crappie. This time of year the 64 bridge seems to be the place to be when the weather is fickle. Most boats anchor on the down river side of the bridge and fish deep. Bites can be soft and it will take a bit of weight to get deep enough depending if you're in the channel or not. Often see several boats but when your fishing vertically there always seems to be enough room for another boat as long as your respectful. Too seeing others catch fish when you're not lets you know at least your in the right spot.

Welcome from Wake Forest. 64 bridge is a good community hole and a good place to get your feet wet. Don't be afraid to venture away from the Bridge itself. There's a lot a crappie over there.
