I’m wanting to throw 4 tournaments this year at night. These will not be money events, it will be a point base series and will be prizes at the last tournament to the top 3 teams.
No live bait jigs only and 5 fish weigh in. Two person teams. Please let me know if interested in this and when I get all the details worked out I will let everyone know.

Yes! I'd like to participate. Not knowing the dates are places to fish makes it hard for me to commit to it. I'll let you know when you get more info together and make your plans known. I will try to support you in jigs only nightstalks if my schedule permits it. Sounds like fun in the future evenings! I better start practicing.![]()
Get some more info up and lets rock ! How bout the first one tomorrow night ?

Not meaning to hurt feelings, but if your expecting 30 to 40 boats you will most probably be disappointed. The biggest crappie tournaments in the state are not supported very well. If your going to limit fishing to nights, using jigs only, you just eliminated even more potential contestants. Not to mention that you are stacking the deck in your own favor by making rules that favors the way you like to fish. If you wish for this to be successful, you must be more open to different tactics and allowing the use of live bait. If I were you, I would consider a rod limit to level the playing field. 8 rods, 2 baits per rod is the standard in most large tourneys. I wish you success, good luck.

One rod, one jig, one fish at a time.

Got 22 boats signed up so far, and this makes it easier for the jig fishermen that has to compete against the live bait fishermen using 5 to 15 poles . And I know this will not be for everyone, but I hope a lot of fishermen will step outside there comfort zone.

You mean you can't fish 10 to 15 rods with jigs? I thought all you had to do was jiggle the jig a little and get a fish every time!
Sorry! I know I'm a bad, bad, Dawgg!![]()
Count me in. Hope I ant the only boat from NC. Of course that might be a lot sweeter me winning the tourney as the only NC boat lol biggrin
