    Default Henderson....Saturday....12/30/17.....


    Just a small mess to finish the year with....kept 14 of my catch....some nice Fisherman gave me his 8....so, came home with 22.....big one went 14"....didn't realize it was that big so when I was swinging it into the boat (didn't use net) it fell on top of my jig pole and broke it in 3 places....almost got that one fixed...spider rigging deep in 15-20 fow....6 poles....caught about 10 gar.....yuk...looks like next Saturday (1/6) may be good to go back....if I am thawed out by then....

    Saturday was a nice day for fishing, but by the time I realized it, it was too late. We sat in the house thinking it was still cold outside and busied ourselves doing needed chores. When I had to go out to the store at noon is when I realized that the weather had changed for the better. Sorry too late to get going. Glad you got you a mess Bruce.
