It took me a long time to get to where I am at. But now I help keep the freezer full and the Family feed. Not to mention the neighborhood fish fries every now and then. I love the catchen part but don't like the cleaning part. So I keep only what I feel like cleaning today, then go again to get some more. I hope you can join me soon.

sounds like what I'm going to be working on, only all above water on release clips of some sort. 1lb test offshore style trolling

Turn the 12-14ft crappie rods into outriggers with release clips

I saw a guy out there today dragging planner boards. and they were working for him. Keep an open mind and try different things. It's half the fun !

I like the rod bending over and go ZIIINNNNNGGGGGGG

it was pretty windy out yesterday, but I managed to have a good time with a couple of buddies. (I need a new trolling motor setup if I'm gonna fish in the wind)

I'm going to try to set up a small 3.5 outboard to the back of the boat and tie it to the big motor for steering. If it works out it should be better than the big motor ( too fast ) and more control than the elect.

another good day at the office !
