Glad to see folks like you posting details , pulls some of the crowds away from where I fish . Tired of bumper boats on some lakes these days . I use my electronics to find fish but some just follow boats .

My details are still vague. There is much to be learned on Maumelle...

I understand your point of view. I respect your opinion and .02 cents worth. I know many will try to take advantage of information and milk out every last fish possible in locations and shared information that might be discussed. I have found these People that act that way and do this are usually not as successful as one may fear. Just like a thief, they want The easy hit and will not work for them like true Anglers. The last time I commented about Lake Maumelle, it wasn't overrun with these kind of folks looking to cash in on tips or info over the following days. Lake Maumelle is a very difficult Lake and takes much knowledge and experience way past what little I share to really get on the Crappie successfully and consistently.

Now Lake Conway is a different story...

This is the "crowd" I refer to. The ones that cut you off working down a bank of lillypads....or get right up on you....or the ones so dang worried about how and what you are doing as they constantly watch you, they cant really catch them...or blow right by your boat without slowing down sending a large wake into your boat. These A holes abound there...

I share just enough information and pictures to help and encourage others to fish. Maybe I've been doing this for 30 something years and want to pass on knowledge and experience to teach a younger generation. The joy of fishing is special and God has blessed us with enough fish to go around for many. I thank God for putting a great Man that once taught and showed me this sport. Crappie are in so many waters in the great State. I have caught them in places people wouldn't believe.

    I like this.

With everything going on in this world including my 3 year old, I dont get to drag the boat out much. I for one appreciate all the info people leave here on the site and it helps me out a lot or at least gives me a direction to go in when I do get to do that 1 out of 60 day outing. Its great to read the unselfish stories like these, where some folks want to see other people go out and have a good catch.

Very nice catch. I sure love seeing fish posted here. Thanks for sharing.

I can say that I couldn't take that info and go catch a mess. I don't have the electronics to make it possible for me. But I can see both perspectives Crystal clear and agree it's a fine line. I also agree that sharing and pass g this love of fishing on is what will allow my grandkids to enjoy the thump. I know I have benefited by the help of other fishermen. And as a result I have to say thank you to folks willing to share but sharing to much without discrimination can lead to crowds. Fine line indeed.

if it were not for some solid tips from CMJ, D10, CrappiePro, JiggingPoleJoe, and several others, I would never have become a decent crappie fisherman. i still have a lot to learn and do not always catch a bunch when I go, but I can say I have not gone out and got skunked in a year or so and I fish all year long from the dead of winter to the steaming hot days of July and August. while all of these individuals gave me some very valuable insights to crappie fishing, not a one of them ever told me specifically where to go. good fishing methods, sound techniques, and time on the water cannot be beat. thanks to those that have helped me along. i will always be glad to share information, but not location.

So I guess GPS coords are obviously out of the question, but are you talking about not revealing the lake you're fishing?
