Yessir grew up on lake whitney started tournament bass fishing at 10 im 25 now so roughly 8-10 years going as much as possible got into financial trouble due to lure addiction haha so had to cut back to my kayak. Found the love for crappie fishing this early winter trying to learn as much as possible. Right now im fishing steele creek and the bridges in the river by kimble bend park when possible if not im in the nolan/rock creek

The reason I asked is that the major portion of everything in the lake makes a “run” starting about now...
You could might consider past the bridge a bit upstream ...in the deeper holes ....

I was thinking that too cause during the hot heat in middle of summer they stacked really good off the bridge. Now its a few here an there, i thought for a minute "i wonder if they are moving up". I guess thats what started this question haha.

Also i gotta say i love reading your post, seeing the pictures you take while fishing from the bank or off a lunch break is impressive. I fished off the bank for as long as i could stand it but never caught anything but some sandbass that got in casting range so for everyone who catches crappie from the bank hats off cause i absolutely cannot hahaha.
