Can you get a refund on your Florida vacation? I know you've been following the high water posts...... And we maybe got another one coming Sunday..... NATE

I don't think I can Mike, I'm just hoping for the best on this new storm. Sure puts a damper on our plans. Thanks for the heads up.

Vic it might be a good year to buy a surf rod & sit on the beach or hit the salt. Hopefully by December we'll be able to get on the freashwater somewhere

Harris Chain ain't flooded, but ain't no fish there either. Been trying here on Griffin. I seem to be getting back into my old habits, of a "one fish limit", and I don't like that one bit! But that's kinda OK, Irma (specifically the cleanup) hurt my back, so I'm in recovery mode anyway.

I too hope the back gets back into shape soon, Slab. I set gate posts, 4X6X10' , today and my back has been talking to me ever since. One by one I'm getting things done on the new place and hope to find a ramp open somewhere when that happens. I'm at a loss to guess how long it will take for this water to go down if it never rained until next year, much less with our normal rainfall.

Vic, there are some lakes down around Orlando I can give you the skinny on should you want to make the drive.

Thanks, I know quite a few also. May come mid November instead of the first of the month.
