    Well.............. Shu swore me to secrecy, but, he's an old codger so ......

    Shu's Shrimp Batter

    12 oz beer (I altered it to 6oz milk / 6oz beer)
    2 cups all purpose flour
    3 eggs
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp white pepper (or Cajun Spice)
    1 tsp garlic powder

    Mix dry ingredients / mix wet ingredients
    Mix all together
    dip shrimp, throw in deep frier
    Eat .........

    (Experiment with ingredients to your liking) etc .....

    Funny but true story.... My son, Greg had a new york friend when he was in college and Greg boiled some shrimp.... Greg left the room for something and his friend started eating them.... When Greg got back he asked him.... How are they? His friend Danny said.... Great but they're a little crunchy!... Then Greg showed how to peel them first!

    I was just wondering, because after I break the head off, the next thing I do is pinch the tail when peeling. I guess I get that from living in south Louisiana most of my life. Pinch the tail is a popular thing to say. haha. Ate a lot of crawfish and you always suck the head(not really) and pinch the tail.

    I don't have a publix near me, but I do have a 2lb bag of frozen in the freezer. I will be cooking them this week.Cooked up some of them shrimp today... Cooked up some of them shrimp today...
