Been wanting an oxygen system. Checked out the keepalive system mentioned in an earlier post. Bottle, regulater, diffuser, and hose for around $260 bucks plus shipping. Is that a high price?

A little bit. We had a bottle, so not sure the price there, but regulator was $20, hose is either 5 or 10 at lowe's, and diffuser was somewhere around 50 +/- 10 on that. Have seen bottles online also

If aquatic ecosystems has them in stock, the stone should cost $34 plus shipping. For the small bottles you can get them for around $100 at most nextair or airgas dealers. Regulator $20-$30. Hose is just 1/4 id. I use fuel line.... it's cheap.

Thanks. Still looking and found a keepalive system at Broadway tackle, includes everything plus carrying case, plus free shipping-$190. That's getting in range there. Will check aquatic eco.

My bad. Clicked to buy at Broadway and it makes you buy pieces individually and it comes out much higher. Very misleading.

Think I'll just go by the regular oxygen places and see what I can come up with.

I would go buy one from nexair. That's where I go when I need a refill. They just swap bottles with you for $15. I pd $150 for my set up but the bottle was given to me...so I guess I saved around $100. You will enjoy it
