    Default Ouachita river 6/19


    Back to river for some more therapy. Fish tried to trick me today. Water done fell out and fish done left the tops I found em in friday. Had to run and gun today spot hopping on the search for some fishes....

    Ended up with 19 with most of those coming off some bamboo that's stuck up in middle of the slough.

    Is there a real benefit to using axehead jigs over regular round head Jigs?

    Not that I can tell so far. I tied those on because fish were hitting on the fall and short striking so I downsized my jig. Those are sold as 1/16 but feel more like a 24th or 32nd
