x2 on Eagle. Some big ole mean gills and crackers in there. I have never fished Washington either myself, though. My uncle live on eagle and said that the water is over the highways. Limited to the levee roads right now I think. Just came down the MS from Cairo to Baton Rouge and she is high high high!

I fish, therefore I am!
So much to learn here... Glad I have folks willing to share... I would have just taken off up that way, and not even guessed that you couldn't get to the lake without issues! Meanwhile, I am still sitting here in the house, cause my fishing partner is out of pocket again! Seeking a new one... Cannot believe there aren't any other retired folks around who like to fish! Everyone I meet just wants me to give them fish... Acting like a bunch of Millennials!

School is out for the Summer CliffordN and as soon as I get family vacation finished next week be looking for a Carolina Skiff almost exactly like yours anywhere from Clear Lake to Horseshoe early in the mornings with 2 girls(7 and 6 year old) and a wild 4 year old screaming "let me throw it out by myself" That will be me all Summer long when the wind allows.
Macpappy..that is as close to perfect as you can get..Enjoy while you can..

Bream are about done but not through. Don't have to use crickets, get a black 1/32 oz jig if you like to feel the thump.
Amen
They'll be at it again next full moon. I've actuallly spider rigged for break at eagle lake. Used crickets instead of minners. Worked pretty good
