    Default Be careful out there!

Fished Shelbyville yesterday and want to pass on that there are a lot of large floating tree limbs out there! Please be careful and keep your eyes open. These things can cause huge problems!!!

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

What part of lake were you on? We went from Wolfs Creek to the dam and didn't see any on Saturday.

I seen a branch about four foot long sticking straight up in the middle of the lake around the Eagle Creek golf course area. I eased up to it and seen it was a tree or a branch about twenty foot long. As info they have put the old dock up to shore at Eagle Creek for use at the high water ramp.

Put in at Eagle and went north. North of Findlay bridge had a lot!

I launched at Whitley Creek on day because of the wind .... had to clean debris out of launch before I launched.

When I came back in the launch was totally clogged with debris again including one huge log that had floated in ..... had a tough time clearing it enough to get the boat back on the trailer.

Yea I avoided the north end of the lake figuring it would be worse up that way. I was more worried about running into a submerged island that I wasn't aware of. Only get over there a few times a year so don't know the lake all that well.

Springfield Crappie Club's open tournament, I believe it is $1,000 guaranteed for first place. They opened the gates up late last week, I imagine that's why the logs and debris are getting worse.
