    I guess you've tried a backhoe arm?

Junkos easier to get in place, faster because it's so light.quicker to maneuver to where you can get under it. That being said, you have to let some line out anyway or walk the pole to the back behind you to get it in the boat.
Now the biggest problem I have with them is the locking/twist action not taking the strain. And what's worse is the net material is clearly not designed to have hook's anywhere in the neighborhood of it !! Where the ego shines...

I use a Cummings crappie net. I'm not exactly sure how long it is but it's plenty long for any type of spider rigging. I'd guess 13.5 ft from tip of net to tip of handle. This is not a net u would want to use on day of fun fishing if your the type that likes to net all your fish. The net material loves weights. Somehow it eats them 3 or 4 diff directions. But I can tell u that this net is faster and can run in the water faster than any net on the market. When we net a fish we NEED that fish. It's worth checking out if you are looking for something fast and durable. But if your gonna net all the fish I would look at the ego or crappie master

Glad I don't have this problem all the fish I catch are usually to small for a net anyways or i just don't catch any, Heck some of them have gone in between the net material
