At a junk sale.

You can make one from a vibrating sander. Mount the sander upside down and velcro the 2 inch PVC flat type end cap You could control speed via light dimmer or a fan speed control. Same principal.

I think this came out of a Dr office.

All you need to do to get the other colors working well just add in some clear 200% gloss from Rosey's! Get a pound and use it in almost all your colors, but wouldn't add to Chrome or maybe even Black, but most colors take it well! Also will make your color fluff so much better!

I had a fluid bed. Actually 2. Gave them away. I think they're good for guys wanting to paint quick or in bulk, but I spend more time tapping on paint with a brush b/c they're just for me.
But this seems far more logical and less one consuming.

This machine does good on all the colors you sent me. I never thought I would be back in the painting business again. ha

Like I stated, you can rig up a sander and do the same thing. I use my orbiter on aluminum paint to stir those aluminum pieces floating around in the paint. This is where I got the idea.

I rechecked red, white, and black paint I have. Seems to mix well, just like the pink. I am new at this, so I don't really understand the problem with air mixers.

Tom, the Red, Black and White are a really heavy powder or denser, something. In a fluid bed they are really hard to get to flow and stay flowing. I can get them to lift but then just drop. I have tried all kinds of mixes with clear but still not very effective. I can see where the vibrator would be a great solution for that problem.

Some guys mix in as much as 50/50 with clear, but I never go that far, but seems almost all colors (minus Chrome and maybe one other) can be made to flow very well with some clear in it.
