    Default Took the gf fishing


    Had the pleasure of taking my gf out today for some single poling action and boy we sure did have a great time!!! Water temp was 71 and I was catching fish in 3' of water most had spawned out but a few were still fat and sassy Name:  IMG_3094.jpg

    Great day! I need to learn how to fish the brush. What's the best lure for this? There is a river here that has a lot of laydowns and brush on the shoreline. I usually cast around but would like to stop and jig some. Any pointers? Thanks for the pics!

    It can be done virtually anywhere certain times of the year when they're bedding but if there not bedding you need a spot like the St. John's that has deep structure! Best lure in my opinion is a hand tied jig 1/32-1/16

    Is that a line thru rod your poking into the brush? What length?
