    63 degrees. They're getting ready to break wide open unless tomorrow's weather dumps a bunch of fresh water in it. Need some, though, to wash away some of the pollen. The trees look like they're smoking when the wind gusts. GTT

    Casting banks is one of my favorite ways to crappie fish. You really get to feel the thump when you're retrieving that jig back to the boat. My only problem any more is all that casting flares up my tennis elbow. My first bad case of tennis elbow from casting came from fishing with Jackie53 but we put it on some crappie that day on Greers Ferry. Great job, keep dad fishing!

    We did have fun casting. Some would just stop your reeling and try to take the rod way from you and others would just sort of feel a little "boop" and then get heavy on the line. Some were meaner than others is what we were saying. . GTT
