Bad spawn years and the 11 inch rule wiped it out .

Naw, people are spoiled, Sardis has been a mass producing lake for a while and when the fishing gets tuff folks don't like it. Not my choice either but it never has been even when it was the hottest thing in the country, but I caught the best fish I caught last fall out of Sardis, period.

It did not help, she's a great fishery, be good again and is not bad now to me. I only fish it when we have a tourney so not catching a ton of 12 inch fish doesn't bother me, just looking for 7 solid fish.

I thought Sardis was the place to catch that 3 pounder. That's what I'm looking for.

They are there. Average size of keepers and big fish is good. The fish I've caught there are healthier than the fish I've caught anywhere else over the last year. Finding them and catching numbers, has been difficult.
