I have the Vault system and so far so good. Heading to Florida this weekend, so I hope they hold up. Can't get used to not performing some kind of maintenance.

I have run the Vault for about 5 years now and like not having to constantly worry about them.......I previously had the oil bath and replaced them with the vault when my brakes went out big time (like they fell off)......my trailer guy said I didn't need the brakes on a single axle so we removed them ($$$ saved).....I have the vault repacked every 2 years whether needed or not....I did have one seal go out.....main thing is to just keep looking for a leaking seal...otherwise, just keep on rolling....I would suggest that you buy a spare hub assembly and keep in your vehicle just in case you have a problem on the road....cost me $35...breakdowns are not fun at night in the middle of nowhere....I also carry a hydraulic jack for flats.....good for trailer or vehicle....
