I know how much you run, on good days with the 200 you can cruise at 4000 rpms running the same speed the 150 will push it at full throttle. On the bad days having the power is priceless, whether it's nose down and plowing through the rollers or having enough to get on top and ride from one swell to the next, ruff water performance is about horsepower plain and simple.

I cant speak for the 150 but I have a 175 Suzuki on a nautic star 2110 and it will run 53 and have been in some rough water both here on the big four and also in gulf . she did great. I don't know what the money difference is in the three boats but you cant go wrong with either one.

I had my 2015 Xpress demo rigged with a 150. Had been running a 200 on the previous (2014) demo. Went back to a 200 ASAP on the 16 demo!!! Never looking back now. No comparison as far as performance in the ruff stuff. BUT, if you already own a 150, use it. You can always upgrade at a later date, or after you get it sold. Really easy to re power with the same brand engine.

Lee, I'll get you a price on a Ranger. Mine will be a 17 model though. No carry overs, which are ok to buy if you find a great deal on one.

Just a FYI for new engine buyers. The Yamaha VF175 SHO is only 200.00 more than the 150 SHO. If your boat is rated for a 175 or bigger, it's a no brainer to spend the extra money on the 175 if you're not going to max it out.
