    Default Do you mark

Bottom line to this thread IMO, is do what gives YOU the most confidence. If you have confidence in your setup, bait, equipment, electronics, etc., you'll fish better and catch more fish. Doesn't matter what some one else thinks or does. If you do the things that YOU like, you'll catch more fish. PMA=CMF!!!

Same with the most consistent tourney fishermen. They go out there CONFIDENT that they'll catch fish. Their confidence makes them better, not their gear.

Asking questions about what other do will give different ideas..you can skin a cat many ways...some are more efficient than others. My methods work...but I will change if someone has a better way

I agree. Never get tired of getting new ideas. Some I try and some I don't. My point was to use what you're Comfortable and Confident with until you find something to try. Always be confident in what your doing at the time tho. It makes a huge difference.

I use different colored electrical tape. Has been on my poles 4 years now but some tag ends are starting to show themselves. No big deal.....just reapply.

Flourescent green duck tape. 1/2" wide strips.
On my second set of rods with no issues, and the color seems to work for me in all light and water conditions.
