    Will be delivered this Sunday (11/27)....Lowrance Elite 5 Ti (touch screen) GPS/fishfinder/HD/side scan/down scan/sonar (total scan) with transom mount transducer.....

    Thanks....the GPS module on my old one went out....rather than spend $200 on a module I went with a new unit with built in antenna.....the Hook series are nice (almost got one) but I wanted a touchscreen.....I think I got a good price on it....you got a real good price also....

    Very nice Bruce, I like that a lot. I have the Elite 5 DSI which is no longer available. Once you get it tuned in, you'll never look at the sonar. I'm interested in seeing how the sidescan works in Henderson. Post some pictures if you get a chance. Thanks.

    Amazing what all this new technology offers...
    doesn't appear the fish have much a chance with you at grip n the visuals in your face. I know it says transom mount, but ya gonna put it on The bow with a fixed shaft or on transom.
    Been contemplating all that with the so many options available for scanning.

    On the transom.....tried that fixed shaft up front once before and didn't like it....this is going in my dash mainly for the GPS (in a fog)....I just have to remember the transducer is about 12 feet from the screen...
