Bobby Garland Fishing Report Contest ....Post a Virginia fishing report ....POST TO THIS THREAD
Simply post a current Virginia Fishing Report in this Thread, with a picture or pictures and you will be entered in the contest.
A picture is required to win.
Please tell us how you did, how you fished (style), and maybe include where you fished, doesn't have to be specific as long as it was in Virginia.
Any type of fish will count as long as it is caught legally.
I will "like" your post to show you are entered.
I will post on some, but not all of the threads. Don't take this personally.
The contest will only run 16 days, then a random winner will be selected. Instructions will be sent to claim your prize.
So let's let the games begin. Contest will end at 6:00 p.m. on Nov 26. Winner will be announced shortly after.

6 hours, only 7 crappie but................Headed out to Suffolk for the first time in nearly three months and boy did I have to work hard for 6 hours to catch 7 crappie. However, one was a length citation at 15.75" and lb 12oz.
This makes citation #30 for me (15 by weight and 15 by length) and another magnet for my fridge.
The nice thing is that 4 of the other ones went 1lb 2oz, 1lb 7oz, 1lb 10oz, and 1lb 11oz.
Here's the 1lb 10oz, 1lb 11oz, and 1lb 12oz crappie.
I never caught more than one in the same spot, I was working structure in deep water and caught them 10' to 15' deep. 6 on a pearl BGBS and the other on a black/pink BGBS. I showed surface water temp at 59-60.

Good morning on the water
My fishing partner Charlie and I had a good morning on the Chick river today. The weather man was wrong again about the high winds, it didn't blow until 10am and then is was about 5mph. We caught some nice fish all on jigs trolling. Water temps were 53,54. I marked loads of fish but most of them had lock jaw. Beautiful day to be on the water.
