I place on cookie sheet or oil pan sheet if I have a lot and let cure for at least 24 hours. I then throw in a plastic bin for a later date. When ready to use I clean the tail with a 92% rubbing alcohol wash.

This is a 1.75" carrot to be used as a tail on a 2.5" carrot. I know, many would use the 1.75" in itself as a bait but not me. The alcohol is to clean the plastic of the oil it secretes. The oil prevents the plastic from making a good bond.

Nothing new color wise as I've poured these many times, posted them and shared the recipe but still loving the ease of the plastic. Worked on some more tails and didn't take long at all.

I agree on the bigger baits DrNip I use mostly 3 and 4 inch baits spring and summer.
Does this brand hard pack when it sits for a while? Had that problem with a few brands but not with the do-it formulas.
Never had a plastic hard pack maybe separate but not hard pack. Do it's separates badly. Some of Do-it's colorant hard packs badly while some doesn't.
Lure Craft has the only plastic that I have ever seen hard pack. as DrNip posted most all will separate, it's what happens when you mix a solid (PVC resin) with a liquid (plasticizer)
