Well I hope it didn't total out your vehicle like a deer did mine but I was driving a real piece so it didn't take much. That's interesting the bite picked up as the day went on because this time of year it's an early bite, at least for me. And dude next time your in J.C. hit me up I'll a have burger, with or without crappie nibbles on your face

Water temperature at end of afternoon was 70 degrees still. I did miss two bigger fish in the morning, one at the top of the morning and another on the boat that came loose on the deck and flipped back in. Lil Baby, I would have called you but I thought you worked on the weekends. Most fish were caught 10 to 15 feet deep, close to the bottom. Had to work the area hard to catch the bigger ones.

sounds like an eventful day for sure, I like this time of year, seems when the sun get higher the fish get more active, heck sometimes I don't get to the water till 11 or so and do well, congrats. on your day.
