Default How Do You View Humminbird Recordings on Humviewer

I recently made some recordings on my 999 and I would like to view them in Humviewer. After an hour and a half of looking for tutorials, how to videos or something on CDC I give up. I would greatly appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

I tried to watch my HB recordings on my computer using the Humviewer and did not really like the picture quality that I got. I found that by using a 12v power supply and watching it on the sonar itself was the way to go and I was able to tweak the sonar settings while watching the recording for a even better sonar picture. Another plus is if you see something like structure you missed while first recording it the gps will still give you the concordances to find it later when you go fishing again.

You can also check out Yellowfin or DeepviewFV....Some say Deepview shows better detail than Humviewer....I have installed it, but haven't used it yet.

Sorry for the vague question fellas. I was just trying to read about using Humviewer before I used it. Tonight I just used it is cool seeing recordings on a 24 inch monitor. Having trouble changing colors in an effort to coax out more detail.
Rickie; My question would be about features such as changing display color.
I see what you mean scrat & BobB...
Thank you all for your responses.

Right click with your mouse on any pane in Humviewer and it will give you more options for controlling the look of that pane ...

And ask more questions ... we'll help as much as possible ...

Thanks Rickie. Humviewer is cool. It looks a lot clearer on my monitor. East wind had them shut down that day but they were there amongst shad and brush...

Humviewer definitely gives a different view of the recordings ...

The fast forward and reverse makes Humviewer worth it tho ...

Ask questions if needed ... it would give me an excuse to brush up on Humviewer myself ...

Is that Deepview Kosmo ? By the way I do run an adapter to view my units sitting on my lazy boy. I am trying to keep the hours down on those units.
