Looks like they will work well. Do they have a quick release so you can remove them?

Not meaning to hijack you're thread, but what size chains do you run? I want to pick up a set while I'm home again in November.

I fish, therefore I am!
I have several 5 ft lengths of 3/8 inch. 50 ft of nylon rope with a snap where I can add lengths or remove as necessary. I keep them in an old plastic tool box, but they still make a mess. I have two Cabelas 68 inch on the way and ima see if that works better. I may wind up with one of the large ones and two smaller ones. Thinking is maybe one large one right behind the motor or two smaller ones, one on each side. I'm hopeing there's enough difference in the two methods to be able to choose based on the wind. I will try the two large ones first, one on each side or one behind the motor. That may do the trick, just don't know until I try these. If it gets to where I need all three, I need to see if I can get the boat on the trailer..
Thanks, I may try to find some coated chain or just dip them myself. Can't wait to be back on the Rez.

I usually run a 66 out the back wrapped around the motor to keep it in the middle. I the wind is really going I will run a second 66 and run one off each back corner of my boat. I have a SeaArk 240.

Okay, cool. I'm only fishing about of a 17.5' tracker so I don't anticipate needing as much, but I like the idea of being able to add and remove sections of chain based on the conditions. If it's bad enough to need more than two, then it's time for me to run and hide somewhere. I will prolly try a sock n the future but I think the would be more hassle than it's worth on Barnett.
