Fort Loudoun main channel. Water temp was 74. Fished offshore brush in 15-30 FOW. Also fished a very deep dock, 27 FOW. Once again, the dock produced all black crappie...hanging about 15 feet deep, while offshore was white crappie. For what it's worth, I'm going to make a note of that! May come in handy when tourney fishing. We kept enough for a meal.Name: IMG_0134.jpg

Watts Bar today. Water temp was 72-75. Focused on deeper docks in the main channel. The 6 mph winds, predicted by the talking heads was at least 16. Didn't catch many, but the quality is sure there! Name: et1.jpg

    Good day on Tellico

Today was a good day crappie fishing. this morning nobody was at the ramp except one other person. he is a member of crappie.com. I think his name or call was Pantastic. Nice to have met you. Well I spider rigged clear creek this morning and I had my limit by 11:15 this morning. i'm glad to. it started to get hot. I used minnows only and had the boat around 20-25 foot deep of water. fished in about 10-15

I put in early on Tellico Lake this morning and you sure can tell a difference in the parking lot since deer season has opened. There was only one other guy putting in as I was. We got to talking crappie and discovered that not only do we fish one of the same fishing holes but we are both on crappie.com. Nice meeting you JohnnyT.
Water temp has dropped on down to 70 degrees. I caught 52 crappie today in the 10 to 15 feet depth range mostly on brush but also a few from docks. The fish were picky about the color today and seemed to prefer White/Chartreuse crappie magnet out of all the other colors I tried. Funny how its that way sometimes.

    could I put another report?

Took my bestest with me to a community hole
We coulda stayed all day, but there were some folks not catching any fish so we gave them the spot and fished offshore
Tried the docks where guido here was too good on before
    No luck
Again the screamer in baby shad beat the swimr, but the fast fall was the key

I could tell you more, but then i'd have to k..., you know

My friend Phillip and I went for a half day of Crappie fishing today. We fished from daybreak until just after lunch. The Crappie were scattered. Warm weather and overcast sky had the Crappie scattered and not relating to much of anything.
We managed to find 12 with 8 keepers. The best color today was Bobby Garland Mo Glo Ghastly Minnow on a 1/32 oz. jig. We caught most of the keepers early in the day.
Single pole fished. The water temperature was 71*-73*.

Life is good. Fishing is better.
