They should fix that water pump. Only 2 years old. I bought a 25 Etec 5 years ago. Only problem I've had was oil injection tube started leaking a little.

Non warranty item. Doesn't it have a hookup for a hose at the rear of the engine right above the hole it pees from. My 15 habitually stopped up. Tech would use air hose to blow it backwards and undo the clog.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
It was stopped up, I pulled some grass out of it...mossy looking stuff. That pic is after...I got it pumping now. That's the way it's looked since day one. These evinrude have a big bore for a pee hole, it sort of just pours out like that instead of a strong stream like I've seen on other motors

That's correct. No stream like a Mercury. Just a steady gurgle of water. Been like that since day 1. Still have same water pump on mine. I had a 9.5 1968 evinrude and that water pump did the same thing.
