    No sir I'm not misinformed. Go buy something there and look at your receipt. Got Bass pro all over it. Talked to the folks there and yes indeed they are owned by BP. Heard the same story about the Canadian investment group. Not True.

    I think your both right....i remember a few years back when sportsmans warehouse in south haven closed for a period of time. The news reported that sportsmans,warehouse had filed for bankruptcy on a group of stores ....at that time a canadian company bought some of the stores and bps bought some and sportsmans warehouse kept some.

    I buy plenty of stuff there. Usually in there atleast 2 times a week and sometimes more. I have a quite a few receipts that I looked at from there and not a single one has Bass Pro, Bass Pro Shops, or BPS on them. I will be glad to take a pic and post later when I have time. My good friend has been the hunting manager there before they shut down and now still afterwards. Look up SPWH on the NASDAQ, it was going for 10.92/share this morning.

    I guess you are referring TN which would be the store on Macon and not the Pyramid. Makes no mention of MS. They even used to answer the phone(maybe still do) "Thank you for calling Bass Pro Shops Sportsmans Warehouse"

    They have BPS prices, but have a lax attitude. Last few times I been in there (Sportsman's) the registers are never open and you check out at the customer service desk. The kids are always goofing off up there, makes me no difference I hate the sales routine at BPS. Always trying to sell you a warranty or asking if you want to sign up for the BPS credit card for extra savings... No thanks I just want to pay the high price and be on my way I try to order everything now, but sometimes a need arises to get something on the fly..

    I did not call Bass Pro Shop anything !!! but here is the facts;

    Bass Pro Shops has 94 existing stores in the United States and Canada. The store sizes range from 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) up to 535,000 square feet (49,700 m2). The largest flagship stores are known as Outdoor World stores. and that Bass Pro Shops have several other stores that do not fall under the Outdoor World flagship brand. those are the ones mentioned in my first post !!!
