Hoping to see a good report from monroe. Supposed to be on a cruise beginning wednesday, doubt thats gonna happen.

I think slab will post some pics soon..... But here's how it went..... Headed that way on 46 we saw what I thought was the shumobile on the side of the road with flashers on.....oh no.... So down the road a little ways we pulled over and tried to call him..... No answer..... Come to find out at the ramp Shu had pulled to the side to let traffic by and then when went by us he thought we might be having trouble... Anyway we both made it to the ramp and got launched. Ha ha.... Headed across the lake with a good 10+ head wind and white caps.... Shu turned around and found some quite water near the bridge and slab and i Were bent on staying with the original plan. We did real good considering and shu and wally got into some also..... We ended up with 10 plus a couple stripers and a kitty.... Great day after all!

It was great to get out and fish during the day. I was starting to feel like a vampire, only fishing at night lately. Thanks for a good goober geezer fishing day on the water. Sorry to all those with that nasty jay oh bee affliction, but somebody got to be there to do the fishin' too.

Old grouper fishing rule--would rather miss ten days when I could go fishing than go one day when I shouldn't. Halfway across lake this morning it was remembered it was a 'fishing day' not a bouncing day, lost over half of the minnow water, so back to the bridge. Wally's first fish was 13.5 inches mine was 13 then second was 14.5 inches, we kept 6 fish and each caught a large gar. Nice trip and nice fish but sure did miss my nap. Thanks guys, forgot I was to take a fish pic --sorry.--shu
