Thanks to all for prayers. Reid's surgery was successful. It is amazing how strong children can be, his incision starts at his shoulders and goes half way up the back of his skull. He still managed some smiles, babbled some and took a bottle yesterday. I was totally amazed!!!
Reid cleared his first hurdle, his next challenges are risk of infection and swelling. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
Thanks,
James and Dawn

Proof that prayers make a difference! Reid was supposed to be in ICU for at least one day possibly more. Thoughts were that he would be heavily sedated during this time. He did well enough to move from recover to the floor skipping ICU all together. I'm not going to show incision or go into detail about what all was done but trust me prayers make a difference. Seeing smiles that I thought would be several days out from surgery! Still has several hurdles but he has cleared the first big one.
Continuing with prayers for the little guy, the family, and medical support staff.
