    Default Last day before school


    Took my daughter down the Amite River yesterday evening after the rains to get in that last fishing trip before school starts .
    She doesn't like taking pics unless she is all prettied up I guess so I snuck a couple when she wasn't looking . Lol
    We got a few but with all that water we had fall yesterday had them a little lock jawed .
    It was still nice to get out and fish with her and it wasn't too awfully hot either .
    Silver and white hair jigs is what they seemed to want the most .

    Nice! Enjoy those daddy daughter trips while you can, they grow up way too fast! Mine still likes to go with me but things like work and college get in the way.

    Great pictures and a beautiful lake. Looks like a Salters jig pole in her hand. Nice article in La. Sportsman this month on JB Salters and his son who has taken over the business. thanks. for sharing. Nice fish , too.
