Default Grenada on Day 4 of vacation

My gals took a day for themselves and went to Southaven shopping. This gave me a chance to go fish Bacar again today. Met a local Nader man whose identity is a mystery as he wore a mask all morning long.

Man them Nader bugs are as bad as I have ever fished with. The carpet was crawling and I lost sight of the color of my boat several times.

My rig will need a power washing after today Grenada on Day 4 of vacationGrenada on Day 4 of vacation.

Sure was nice to finally get together after several years of talking about fishing with the Nader man.

The masked man knows the lake well and it wasn't long before he had the water thrashing with a bucket mouth. The fishing was sporadic but the conversation was great. We laughed and I got tickled many times as we talked about our similar experiences we have had with our daughters. I got to know more about Mr. Good time and how he and Mr. Nadar were so close. It was clear they had a friendship bond that few folks experience and many others only dream about having. We ended the day with a nice cooler of bucket mouths for a family dinner this week and even better were the memories made and conversation held.

Nice mess of crappies and assuming you were fishing with John aka Rees guide. Had the opportunity to fish with him back in the spring and had a good time

Nice fish! But I have one other thing to say! Where in the heck has that calm smooth water been the previous 3 weeks?

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

Man it's been this way the last 3 days calm until the afternoon boomers make there appearance. We were asking for wind this morning with all the bugs. Hated to put the umbrella up as I was informed the bugs would flock to the shade of it even more.

Lessons learned today. If they get this bad and you are on the lake. Don't put your boat in the garage or shop because as evening neared they came out of every nook and crack and were swarming my boat again. I would have thought they would've blew out on the ride home.
